Our services last one hour. The music is primarily the modern songs that are shaping worship music today. After a time of singing the pastor will teach from the Bible for 25-30 minutes. Our Deacons are present each Sunday to welcome you and provide you with our weekly Devotion to take home with you.
The Connection Center is a great place to stop in before service if you have questions or need directions. Here you will find information about each of our ministries, as well as our monthly Journey where you can get up to date on things happening at Glenkirk!
The Worship Center, where our Sunday services take place at 9:00am and 10:45am, is located near the center of our campus, and easily recognized by the large cross. Our 5:00pm service is held in the Event Center.

MINISTRIES, CLASSES, AND GROUPS
Small Groups provide an opportunity to grow in your knowledge of God’s Word, increase your passion for God, and experience authentic community. Our Small Groups span all ages and phases of life and meet at various times during the week.
Glenkirk Men’s Ministries is a great place to get connected, no matter your age or stage of life. Men’s Ministries meets you right where you are in your faith and understanding of what it is to be a Man of God.
Women’s Ministry at Glenkirk provides many opportunities for women to grow in friendships and faith. On our women’s page, you’ll find brief descriptions of our various ministries for women.
Glenkirk Church exists to help children, students, and parents become fully devoted followers of Jesus together. We are here to support you and partner with you as your family grows from birth to adulthood.
Glenkirk Young Adults provides a comfortable environment where individuals can come and casually worship, as well as have meaningful discussions about life topics.
Children’s and Student’s Ministries offer Sunday and Midweek programs for ages newborn – Kinder, and 1st grade – 5th grade.
At Glenkirk’s ENGAGE we want all students to be welcomed! We welcome them to a life with Christ, a life with Community, and a life in Calling.
GriefShare is a caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
Support and Recovery groups are offered because Glenkirk cares about the people in our community.
Glenkirk’s Lay Counseling Ministry provides trained Christian helpers for people who desire paraprofessional level counseling.
Premarital and Marital counseling is done by many of Glenkirk counselors who are specifically trained to do this using Life Innovation’s Prepare and Enrich assessment.

One of our core values at Glenkirk is Create. Specifically, creating God’s kingdom on earth as we reach out to our local community through acts of service and Christian mission that are rooted in love for God and for others.
Session Elders are to pray and work for the growth of all members and for their equipping for ministry through personal and pastoral care. Our Deacons are the caregiving front line of our congregation. They are responsible for hospital visitation, care for shut-ins, prayer ministry, funeral arrangements, and hospitality.

Winter 2019-2020
Glendora Christmas Pancakes | December 7 | Volunteers Needed
Glenkirk will be providing our famous pancakes at the Glendora Gingerbread event and we need your help! Saturday, December 7th, join us from 9:00-10:30am at the Glendora Public Library.
Open Arms | Select Saturdays
Glenkirk Church has extended our outreach to serve those who are currently experiencing homelessness through a new ministry called “Open Arms”. In an effort to help local individuals and families, we are providing showers, breakfast, and sack lunches on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays during the months of August, September, October, and November. Facilities will be open from 9:00am-11:00am on these days. Thank you for your outpour of support in volunteering for this ministry!
November 16
Winter Shelter
Glenkirk Church has partnered with the East San Gabriel Valley Coalition for the Homeless to house and feed approx. 200 men and women on our campus for about 15 days each January. It takes 50 volunteers daily, and lots of donated food and clothing, to make our guests comfortable. The winter shelter will be open December 31 – January 15
AWANA | Wednesdays | 6:30-8:00pm
Our AWANA Clubs are looking for some addition hands in to help run our program beginning in the Fall! Volunteers are needed to check children in, help facilitate games and other activities, and be in the small group rooms to help kids with their handbooks. All volunteers must sign up and will undergo a personal interview with our director and a background check. For more information about the program, CLICK HERE or email Johanna below to get involved!
Student Ministry
ENGAGE Student Ministry is continually looking for volunteers to help us run programs on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as for drivers and chaperones for ministry outings and events! All volunteers must interview with our Directors and undergo a background check before serving. If you are interested, please contact Kinsey below:
Meal Ministry
Glenkirk has an ongoing ministry in which we provide meals for those who have a need due to illness or new baby. If you would like more information or would like to participate in delivering the meals please contact Paty below:
Safety and Security
Glenkirk has recently launched a new ministry for campus Safety and Security! We are looking for dedicated and caring volunteers to join our team. Anyone over the age of 21 with a passion to serve is welcome to apply. Those with current or past training and/or experience in law enforcement, fire services, or medical/healthcare services are highly desirable. Applicants will be required to undergo a complete background check and oral interview. If you have experience with in the field of safety or security, or have questions about the ministry please email Seaton King below.
