Finney Premkumar is the Founder and President of Truth Matters International, headquartered in Pasadena, CA. The ministry has a twin focus of engaging the academy and equipping the church with the Gospel of Christ. Undergirded by a strong philosophical and theological approach, this ministry seeks to confront the dominant ideological voices of our time by presenting the reality of God’s eternal Word. Finney is passionate about evangelism/missions and has spoken at numerous churches, organizations, conventions, youth conferences, and mission-related events. He has lectured at the Academy of Sciences in Poland and the Czech Republic, as well as addressing the general assembly at UNESCO in Belgium from an interdisciplinary and Christian perspective. He also delivered lectures for 8 consecutive years at Oxford University at the invitation of Professor Alister McGrath. Finney regularly addresses issues in philosophy, religion, science, ethics, technology, artificial intelligence, and related topics and has been privileged to present academic lectures/ papers at numerous universities, like Harvard, MIT, Yale, Johns Hopkins, and UC Berkeley, among others. He was in the IT industry before committing to full-time ministry and is currently completing his Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham in England. His thesis is focused on the structure of scientific revolutions and the built-in limitations of scientific and mathematical models, in an effort to show the necessity of a transcendent foundation (God).
