Ministries - Adults - Mid-Week Classes

Wednesday Family Night

In the middle of the week, we all need to have our batteries re-charged, perspectives re-aligned and faith re-tooled. Glenkirk gathers at Family Night on Wednesday evenings for dinner, fellowship, worship, learning and growth for the entire family.

Food Court

From 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. a great dinner is served in the Event Center or on the patio (weather permitting). Ministry teams prepare and serve the meals. Barbequed hot dogs and hamburgers are also offered. Dinner cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12, $4 for salad bar and $15 for a family.

Worship

From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. there is a time of worship in the Sanctuary with assistance of a worship team.

Child Care

There is child care for children under the age of 3 in the Christian Education Building, Children's Wing.

Awana

Awana is a Bible-centered ministry for children ages 3 through 5^th grade. This is a program to assist churches to teach children about the Bible and how to follow Christ. They meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Cubbies for children ages 3 and 4, Sparks for children kindergarten through second grade, and Truth and Training for children 3^rd through 5^th grades. They meet in the Christian Education Building, Children's Wing.

Middle School

Middle-age students meet for Fellowship from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. in the Christian Education Building, Room 23. Special events are held once or twice a month such as movie nights, pizza parties, pool parties, concerts, all-nighters, beach trips and mission trips.

High School

High school students meet for Fellowship from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. in the Christian Education Building, Room 15. Special events are held once or twice a month.

Adult Spiritual Growth Seminars

 "C. S. Lewis: Scholar and Artist" led by Rev. Jim Miller - 4 week series

"A Hunger for Healing" - Christian Education Building, Room 25 - led by Gerry Hawkins. This is a 12-week series taken from J. Keith Miller's video which provides ways to help us deal with the problems of sin and brings us closer go God

"Galatians" Paul's short and impactful letter - Christian Education Building, Room 24 - led by Josh Stout, Student Pastoral Assistant and pre-PHD candidate.

"Keeping Love Alive" - (For single adults) - Christian Education Building, Room 21 - led by Steve Sposato, Pastoral Assistant.
