Joining a team is another way to get involved in changing the world.   If you are unable to join a team, your prayers and/or financial support will be greatly appreciated.

  

All teams are listed in order of activity occurrence.   

 

Disaster Assistance Relief Team (DART)    

Purpose:  Care for communities affected by crises and castatrophic events.

Leader:  Susan Friedman            

Dates:  Ongoing throughout the year.

Kenya                

Destination:  PCEA Tumutumu Hospital

Purpose:  Women's Conference Planning Meeting and Mahiga Celebration.

Purpose:  Women's Conference and Vacation Bible School for Tumutumu School for Hearing Impaired Children.

Destination:  Nairobi, Kenya

Purpose:  Women's Conference with Women of Global Action.

Destination: Donetsk Christian University 

Purpose:  Teach English

Purpose:  Work trip and orphan care with For His Children

On Campus National and International Opportunities

Music Mission Kiev

Purpose:   Glenkirk Sanctuary Choir concert with Music Mission Kiev Choir and Orchestra.

Team Leaders:  Phyllis Firtz, Beth Ritchey, Shelley Ulrich, and Kathy Whittle

Dates:  September 20-22, 2008

Concert Date:  September 21, 2008

 

Shepherd Tree

Purpose:  Christmas gift collection for Chinle Navajo Reservation.

Team Leaders:  Jim and Lee Ann Brennan        

Dates:  November 2- December 15, 2008

 

Operation Christmas Child -Samaritan's Purse

Purpose:  Shoe box distribution, reception, and delivery to collection site.          

Team Leaders: Cathy Lindahl and Joyce Johnson

Dates:  Fall 2008

                      

Living Christmas Market - Samaritan's Purse       

Purpose:  Alternative gift market.

Team Leaders:  Debbie Neal and Iris Whiting
