Homebuilders will be hosting a parenting series Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in Room 25 to build better, stronger and faith-driven relationships with our children.

May 18 – “Develop communication skills with our pre-teens and teenagers”

May 25 – “Minimize conflict with our kids and build a positive relationship”

June 1 – “How to help our children become more responsible and prepared for the future”

All parents are invited to attend this seminar that will provide parental practical advice and wisdom for raising children through the teenage years.

Wayne Rice is a Youth Minister, Author and Co-Founder of “Youth Specialties” – the nation’s largest provider of youth ministry resources and training. He is the author of the leading seminar program for parents of teens “Understanding Your Teenager.”

FAMILY FUN DAY & 8TH ANNUAL ROUTE 66 CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Glenkirk Church invites you and your family to attend the 8^th Annual Route 66 Classic Car Show & Family Fun Day to be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

There will be a Children's Fun Zone with free sno-cones, popcorn, crafts, carnival games, bounce houses, and may other fun activities.

View 200+ classic cars, hot rods and custom cars. There will be trophy and awards ceremony.

Drawings will be held throughout the day with great prizes. There will be live entertainment.

Food stands will be selling BBQ beef, hamburgers, hot dogs and root beer floats.

Several families from Glenkirk are going to Forest Home Family Camp July 27 to August 2, 2008. Come join us.
