The mission of Glenkirk Men's Ministry is to evangelize, enable, encourage, and mentor men to obey God's directed will within their families, church and community.
This ministry brings together the men of Glenkirk and friends from the community for worship, fellowship, teaching, outreach and breakfast. The Men's Ministry Monthly Breakfast Meeting is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. No reservation is necessary. Cost is covered by donation. Childcare is available upon request.
April 19 - Speaker will be Anthony Prince, Director of Children's Ministries. His topic will be "When God Doesn't See It Our Way". We've all wondered what God has in mind for our lives. What are we to do when we don't understand or don't desire God's direction? Anthony will guide us as we engage the difficult questions related to perceiving and accepting God's will for our lives.
More than 60 Glenkirk men are meeting together on a regular basis for Bible study, fellowship, and accountability in five small groups. There is nothing quite like a bunch of guys who really care about each other enjoying some good natured kidding around. But, when you add a deeper faith and closer walk with Jesus, well, there is just no way to say how great it feels. That is why we would love to see more Glenkirk men in small groups. If you would like to check this out, please contact Jon Sampson, Pastoral Assistant, and Small Groups at (626)914-4833. When you join a small group, don't be surprised if your new buddies hold you accountable to a fuller and richer life in the Love of Christ.
This program provides an opportunity for men and women to participate in team sports (softball, volleyball, basketball, tag football) in a Christian atmosphere. There are co-ed and men-only teams. There are also people meeting to play tennis.
