DEACON/ELDER NOMINATIONS

The Glenkirk Nominating Commmitee is currently seeking recommendations for men and women for the position of Elder and Deacon to serve beginning January, 2011.  Nominations will be accepted through May 24, 2010.  All nominees must be members of Glenkirk.  Your input is vital to the selection of our leaders. 

Requirements for the Office of Elder and Deacon

• A demonstrated commitment to Jesus Christ and willingness to responsibly serve this congregation and its ministry vision with diligence.
• Acceptance of the Scriptures as the unique and authoritative witness to Jesus Christ.
• Membership at Glenkirk Church as well as faithful attendance at worship services.
• Previous service on committees or boards, service or affiliation with ministry groups.
• Involvement with small groups or attendance at classes or Bible studies is desirable.
