Shelley Ulrich

I have been married to Rod for 34 years and we have two grown children Matthew and Lauren.Rod is a Computer Projects Manager for a local school district as well as a computer science professor at AzusaPacificUniversity.Matthew is married to Heather and they have an adorable toddler son named Nathanael. Lauren lives and works in Fairfax, Virginia.

I was raised in a family with a strong Assembly of God Church background and became a Christ follower at the early age of 13.Rod and I started attending Glenkirk Presbyterian Church in 1990 and have truly enjoyed the wisdom and traditions of the domination.

Professional:

I have worked at Glenkirk since 1991. When I first came on board I served as the Coordination of Parish Ministry (Deacons).I now enjoy working specifically with the Global Impact Team (world missions).My educational background includes psychology, leadership and incultural studies.I had the pleasure of traveling with teams to; Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Kenya,Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Enjoyment:

I love Baroque and Classical music.The art works of Van Gogh are truly my favorite from that time period however I enjoy the work many other artists.I love my dogs, flowers, the ocean, walking, and discovering beautiful architecture.Songs that I have recently enjoyed; I’ll Fly Away, I Have Decided to Follow Jesus, and Do You Believe in Magic. My favorite Bible story is the great story of Esther!
