We're pleased to announce that Pastor Emeritus Dr. Walter Ray has published a book entitled Is God Unnecessary? The book is available in paperback and Kindle edition from Amazon and from Barnes and Noble. In it, Ray disputes the claims of physicist Stephen Hawking, who suggested that the laws of physics make God unnecessary. The book lays out nine arguments from physics which show that Hawking's arguments are mistaken. RAY earned both a BS and an MS in electrical engineering from MIT. He also earned an MDiv degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in biblical studies from Princeton Theological Seminary.
