Jr High Upcoming Events - Sept 20th
Well last week flew by for us! It was so awesome to see all of you last Wednesday at youth group and Sunday morning! I'm excited to see more you guys as the year goes on and to attend more of your sporting events/shows. Here's some of the awesomeness that's taking place this week - there's a lot happening so prepare for a minute or two of reading!
Taco Tuesdays are Back!
The long anticipation for Taco Tuesdays can be laid aside. Tomorrow night, Sept 21st, we kick-off our weekly Taco Tuesday nights at our local Del Taco on Lone Hill and Route 66. Come hang out with us from 7-8 and eat tacos for FREE! If you've never been to a Taco Tuesday, you should come and check out what all the fuss is about - they are a blast!
Since its been a year, here are few things we ask of you while we are there.
- Clean up after yourself (trash, cups, etc. - You guys rock at this already).
- Refrain from the temptation of shooting spit wads - we'd like to be welcomed back week after week, doing this would prevent that.
- Invite a friend - we love hanging out with you and your friends!
So come hang out with us this Tuesday as we kick-off our awesome TT. Remember to bring a few bucks if you want anything other than tacos.
Overflow - Wed Nights 7-8 PM
Last Wednesday was awesome! We kicked off our series Revitalize - Vital Steps to Making it a Good Year! Be there this Wednesday as we continue that series and talk about being there for your friends. So come have a fun night with us as we laugh and play games!
Christian Club @ Goddard
Do you attend Goddard Middle School? Christian club starts up this Thursday during lunch! Keep an ear out for the announcements on our meeting place. 1st lunch will be in Mr. Summers room and 2nd lunch will be in the classroom next to him - not sure what teacher that is. So bring your lunch down with you and come say hi to us during lunch.
Overflow - Sundays
This sunday we enter into week 3 of our study on Galatians and how it affects our lives. This Sunday we'll be talking about the Dinner Seating Fiasco. So join us at the 9:45 hour in Room 23 and if you want to arrive a little early we definitely can get a few games of ping pong or fooseball in, maybe we'll even bust out some competitive foursqaure. Hope to see you there!
3rd Annual Where's Waldo Hunt
It's getting closer to the month of October which means our Jr high Where's Waldo Hunt is just around the corner. This year's Where's Waldo Hunt will be on Oct 9th from about 6:00pm to 9:30pm. This is an awesome event where our favorite Jr high leaders get disguised and head to Downtown Disney. It's you and your teams job to find as many leaders as you can in 1 hour. It's an awesome event to bring friends to as most of our leaders come up with some pretty unique and awesome disguises. More details are to come but start to think about your teams now (5-7 people) and look for a parent that would be willing to drive you! Can't wait for this!
