VBS Volunteer Info

To make VBS a success each year, Glenkirk Church hosts a week of training days leading up to the week-long event.

This year, training dates and times are as follows:

7/5 - Church Office Closed (Holiday)

7/6 - Youth Training Day

Jr High (6th-8th Grade): 10am-1pm

Sr High / College: 2pm-4pm

7/7 - Adult Training Day / Youth Team Events

All Adult Volunteers: 10am-12pm

Jr. High Pool Party: 6:30pm-8pm (Lewis' Home)

Sr. High Pool Party: 6:30pm-8pm (Ellis' Home)

7/8 - Specialty Team Meetings

Various meetings throughout the day for area specialists (worship team, decorating crews, leadership team, etc.)

7/9 - Youth Training Day

All Youth Leaders: 10am-4pm

7/10 - Youth Training Day

All Youth Leaders: 10am-4pm

7/11 - Final Training Day

All Available Leaders: 12pm-4pm

Leaders will attend the 11:11am service for commissioning and prayer.  Meeting directly following the church service.
