VBS Donations 2010

We are in need of many donated items for VBS.

This year's VBS will be the largest in Glenkirk's history.  In order to make this amazing week-long event happen, we need your help.

The two types of donations we are most in need of are:

Scholarships
$40 donations for child scholarships.

Gift Card Donations
Gift Cards for craft, decorating and snack supplies ($25 or $50)
* Home Depot
* Michaels
* Vons
* Target
* Costco
* Stater Bros.
* Wal Mart
* Sam's Club

 

We are also in need of donations for snack time.  Each day, we will be feeding over 1000 kids... you can help us out by donating any of the following items:

 

Napkins

9000 2-3 oz cup

50 gallon size baggies

1400 otter pops

9 large containers of goldfish crackers

18 bags of mini pretzels

10 bags of pretzel sticks

38 bags of miniature marshmallows

Lots of popcorn (popped)

28 pounds of chocolate chips or m&ms

15 pounds of raisins

1500 cupcake liners

65 boxes of white or yellow cake mix

18 dozen eggs

Jug of canola oil

40 pounds of powdered sugar

16 pounds of butter

Blue food coloring

60 watermelons

1500 gummy worms

1000 9 oz. cups

500 clear 5 oz. cups

1500 spoons

50- 5 quart containers of vanilla ice cream

 

 

If you would like to donate any of these items, please email us at kids(at)glenkirkchurch.org or stop by the Elementary Sign In table on Sunday mornings and ask to speak with Anthony Prince.  This is only a limited list of items we need for VBS.  For a full list of items needed, contact Staci Travisano in the church office x119.
